No Credit History? Try FHA!


Are you someone who doesn't like credit, never had it, and stays away from it?
 
This may be a great strategy if you want to stay out of debt, but if you are trying to qualify for a mortgage, it can spell trouble.  Most lenders these days want to see an established credit history, and most loan programs require at least 3 credit lines that have been open for 24 months or more.

ARM Rates to Lower?

Project Lifeline Mortgage Help


The government is set to unveil a new program designed to help all homeowners who are in trouble with their mortgage and behind on their payments.

FHA Loan Limit Increase to Become Law


FHA loan limits are set to increase in some areas as part of the government's new economic stimulus package.  The plan is set to become law later this week, and President Bush is expected to sign the bill on Wednesday.

Are Medical Collections OK With FHA Financing?


If you have had problems with medical billing and insurance in the past, you are not alone.  It's no suprise that health insurance and the lack of it for millions of Americans is a central issue in this year's presidential race.
 
If you have medical collections on your credit report and your credit is otherwise decent, you are still eligible for FHA mortgage financing.  FHA does not look negatively at medical collections.
